BAFF Polymech Pvt Ltd. was established under the Sri Lankan law in 2009 and is settled in the Koggala Export Processing zone close to Galle on the Southern Coast of Sri Lanka. The company is set up as per the model of social business and employs youth trained by the Building A Future Foundation. BAF Foundation provides its support to this company in terms of management, accounting, marketing and HR.
 
BAFF Polymech Pvt Ltd. applied and received the status of BOI Company (Board of Investment of Sri Lanka) in order to benefit exemption of import and export taxes and therefore have a chance of becoming a competitive actor on the market.
 
BAFF Polymech Pvt Ltd. has the infrastructure available to manufacture moulded rubber, polyurethane and plastic products as well as rigging and mechanical and electrical engineering parts. BAFF Polymech Pvt Ltd exports the above products as well as sails, mast and booms and marine ropes.
